Most insurance providers in our state do not require that you need a prescription from your medical provider prior to seeing a physical therapist.  Often times we evaluate a patient and collaborate with the medical provider on what the next best steps are. 

As an added service we call your insurance company before your appointment and determine what they allow for physical therapy care.
